I thought it would be interesting to show the knives I had before Blade Forums and the knives I have now. (First time to post pictures. Hopefully they'll come out).

I'm going to keep this "After" picture so I can look at it every time I'm considering a new purchase. (I forgot to add the Buck 110, BM minigrip, multi-toolS and about a half-dozen others - all of which were "After" purchases). The picture is a little small. Bottom row left to right is JYDII, Leek, Buck Strider, Buck Strider Trainer, ZT0200, Large Sebbie, Al Mar Sere 2000, Trailmaster. Middle Row is Lone Wolf T1, Para, Teanacious, Native, Trekker. Top row is Ontario Rat 5, Rant, 201 Activator, Bravo 1, another Barkie & a custom.

I think that is enough for the time being. I'm going to have to shift this to a "steel-in steel-out" hobby.

Nice collection. I'd have more knives than I do right now but my knife enthusiasm is tempered by a wife and three kids. Can't wait to start buying them knives though, when they're old enough and I can trust them with their own.

Kru03 your post brings a smile to my face as it shows it is BladeForums that must responsible of a similar increase in numbers if not types as you have experienced.

I fear in both our cases that the collections will keep growing. At least we now can shift any blame away from ourselves. :p :D

How do you like the trailmaster? I use mine as a machete to cut down small Aspen trees 1" to 2" that I use to make hiking sticks.

Yeah, I've got a wife and 2 kids, which should have tempered my collecting.

I haven't had the chance to use the Trailmaster much yet, but have a camping trip scheduled for next week in Colorado. I hope to get some use out of it then. My kids are 4 and 6 so it will just be car camping. If it does get used then, it will be because I've searched out a use for it.

Geez, not sure why, but somehow I can relate.

Nice collection, looks like their breeding like rabbits :D

I've always been kind of a knife nut, but since finding BF my collection has become more refined (ie snobbish). :D

I'm still trying to work my up to Busse and Sebbie level though. ;)
