I posted a thread a while back trying to get some information on a Buck Stockman I purchesed. I was told it was a Schrade contracted Buck Stockman, One of the early ones. I took pictures and posted them on the thread( the first two here)

I was refered to a real pro. Leroy Remer of Triple R knives. I went down to see Leroy in LakeSide CA. and together we were able to reserect this Schrade contract Buck Stockman. Thank you for all your help Leroy.
Here are pictures of the same Schrade contract Buck Stockman after we put new scales on it, buffed and polished it and put an edge on it.

At this point I don't know if I want to carry it or put it in my collection.:) THANKS AGAIN LEROY

No, We've talked on the phone a few times but haven't met in person. Funny thing he lives closer to me than leroy.

Nice job. The blades have sure seen a bit of use. It's nice to be able to turn something old into something new again. One of the nice things about a Buck knife (well, in this case Schrade) is the ability to do that.

MJ,
MYSELF, I would use it as a special carry knife, I have two that are Remerized and I carry them for special situations.....

Leroy did the gluing and buffing, I sanded the scales down to the right fit, It was a team effort, I'd like to think. Leroy is a great guy!
