Curious if anyone has tried out one of the newest of these models yet? The one's Reate was making years back were outstanding in my opinion, but the D2 steel and new price point have me wondering how much the quality may have been compromised. I miss my mini Bodega, and wouldn't mind picking up one of these if the reviews are good. Any idea who is making them now?

I have the new Bodega model and the flipping action on it is reeeeeeaaaly nice. I'm not a fan of the ball clip Begg uses tho, so that could be better IMO.

Especially for the price point, but I like to flip it at least as much as most of my Hinderers, so it's pretty good, haha.

I ordered a Mini Glimpse as well but the Bodega is the gem. The MG is nice tho, and I gifted it to a buddy and he likes it a lot, I guess.

Not sure why there's not more chatter about these.

My guess is because there are so many options for D2/G10 from China at or under this price point these days. There are some flourishes that make these stand out a bit (ceramic detent, ball clip, subframe lock, milling work), but it's still a crowded field.

These have a quality feel that the Kizers, Civivis and the like, that I've handled, don't possess. But, as you point out, these are more expensive and the materials don't really impress in 2023.

I think it's the sub frame lock and detent that makes the Bodega such a sweet flipper, and the action is what makes it stand out and compelled me to comment.

It's been my edc since I got it and I usually switch things up quite a bit, haha.
