Begg vs RJ Martin flippers?
Between just these two makers, which flipper maker would you choose and why?

I don't remember ever handling a Begg knife but I can tell you RJ Martin's flippers have a magical feeling to them. I couldn't put the custom Zing down!

Hi hoser: Based on the replies to your post, the question you should have asked was greenbladepb vs. RJ martin-Between these two makers, which flipper maker would you choose and why?

I do not have apprentices in my shop making my folding knives. If my name is on it, I made it myself.

The roller bearing pivot that RJ Martin uses is the best I have handled. Some may say it is even better than IKBS but since I haven't handled many knives with IKBS, I couldn't know.

I dont have any Begg's. My Devastator is phenomenaly smooth and nice. My IKBS knives are also very smooth. Tuff decision which is smoother.....gives me a reason to go flip both

On a seperate note. Greenbladepb, do you make Todds knives? Do you make a "part" of the knife? Do you help in assembly? What exactly do you do in aiding Todd? Or is your apprentiship in making knives but they are not sold? I am curious, thanks.

R.J. hands down, any day of the week! Not that Todd's stuff isn't great, it is, but when it comes to flippers, I personally feel R.J. has taken it to an entirely new level! Good luck!

rj martin sir, I would like to thank you for your wonderful design and flawless fit and finish on my zing, it is a thing of beauty, art in motion, the pivot is effortless, flips out faster than any of my autos, the lockup is tighter than a dicks hatband, yes I am bias, this is such a smooth operating flipper knife, so my 2 cents is rj martin!

but I would challenge greenbladepb to send one of his comparable designs to me for a proper review, if you would like me to make an unbiased choice?
