Another large field knife in D2. The blade is 3/16" thick by 1 1/2" wide. The blade length is 6 1/2". Handle is 5" with green canvas micarta 3/8" thick to fill the hand. They're held on with loveless bolts, also with a 7/32" landyard hole. Convex grind and edge. This one is similar to the soldier knife. Thanks for looking. ;)

Hi and welcome to Blade Forums. ;) I live in northwestern Harford county just below the Mason Dixon line. I do the Showplace arena gunshow in PG county if you ever want to stop by and say hi. I'll be there in July.

Thanks buddy. Pretty close to a clip but still more a drop point. Not my typical spearpoint.

One sweet looking knife. Do you think you'd ever be able to make a similar one with a sawback? Just curious. Beautiful workmanship on that one as is.

That would take a mill which I don't have. My buddy has a expensive mill because he's a machinist, but to honest I've never done it and wouldn't know where to begin. I would have to call on a fellow maker to help out. Sure would be cool with saw teeth.

Very nice. Someday I'll have to get one. Don't stop making the spearpoints, some of us love 'em. :)

The spearpoint is one of my favorites in this size and bigger knife. I made this a bit higher drop. The point is between a drop point and a spearpoint if you know what I mean.

Man, great minds must think alike. Just wait until you see the little utility knife I ground out at Craig Camerer's house last saturday. I swear I hadn't seen this post until today, but just wait until you see the shape of the handle on my knife! Uncanny. Mine is smaller, pointier bladed and is some random damascus, but the knife is very similar.

Well Danbo what the hell you waiting for, get that knife done so I can see it! :D Seriously, you got my curiousity up now. ;)
