Beginner & Advanced Shoptalk?

Would it be possible to split Shoptalk in 2 to stop the exile of top makers and maybe bring some back to Shoptalk?
I know that it is not that simple. For starters, a line has to be drawn separating beginning from advanced and somebody to moderate that.
Just throwing the idea out there.

How do you want to distinguish between beginners and advanced? Maybe only allow Knifemaker members in advanced?

That would be a good idea idea. Thanks. And God knows that once you get to an advanced level in this craft, the price of a membership is small change compared to what you need to invest in materials, supplies and tools. And way cheap to have access to such a goldmine of information. If it works that is.
