Beginner knife thrower.

I just purchased my first set of throwing knives. They are quite small at only about 5 inches and very light. I'm learning the no spin technique and don't know if these are the best to learn with. I'm decently accurate at 10 feet but beyond that its hit and miss. Just looking for any tips.

Welcome to Blade Forums. I haven't bought any throwing knives in years, but the one I had was about 7 or 8" OAL. and I used the spin technique. That was many years ago in highschool. What type of knives did you get? I hear rumors that if you buy those "cheap" sets that the blades aren't heat treated.
