Hi i just started throwing knifes and have a few questions:
When i throw hand-grip with sharp edge looking downward, it sticks with the sharp edge looking upward. The knife rotates in the air on its axis? Shouldn't it be like that way and how can i fix it?
And what is important for sticking forcefully?

Typically, a thrown knife will rotate end over end, and rotate on axis as well.

Sticking with force is a matter of throwing with force, and getting the distance and rotation right. Overspin and under spin sticks are not going to be as forceful as when you get the rotation right and it hits perfectly point on.

If you learn no spin trowing, it will take away the knife's tendency to spin on axis, and end over end. Look up Combat Throwing. Ralph Thorn has video's on you tube, and also has books and instructional video's to teach it. When done correctly, it is pretty impressive. Depending on the knife I can use this style out to about 15 feet (though my technique is terrible).

Ive been throwing for some time now.

I can tell you that a heavier knife will be easier to find your consistency with once you become comfortable with your chosen gripping style.

I use 3 Cold Steel True Flight Throwers normally, (Chinese, not US) but they are pretty damn good knives.

You should get your grip down, then work on your followthrough with your throws, always working on your consistency of power and spin.

Beginners should try to learn to throw with a straight wrist so they may properly judge their distance between blade and handle throws.

Once you find the knife thats right for you, just keep practicing.

You know the saying.. "Amatures practice until they get it right, Professionals practice until they can't get it wrong."

Keep practicing, and have fun with it!
