Beginners guide to Seiko dive watches

your site? The model # are wrong. The OM is SKX781 not 784 and SKX779 is for the black monster not the 007 which should be SKX007.

Not a small watch, or the lightest- but it sure does look cool.
 
hope I didn't come off harsh. It's a cool site and soon, oh yes very soon a monster will be mine.

It's an 007 with beadblasted case, black PVD bezel, Sub dial, sword (early version) hands, black chapter ring, and a sapphire crystal. Some of the mods were done by Bill Yao, some by Jack at IWW.
 
Today I am wearing my Seiko Professional that I bought in Higa's pawn Shop on Okinawa in Oct 1971. I try and wear it a few days each month so it does not sease up.

Interesting watch....I've never seen that one before.

OM stands for "Orange Monster", that case style is known as the "Monster". The standard Monster models have an automatic movement. I imagine that your "Perpetual Monster" has a quartz movement, probably the 8F35.

Yes it is an 8f35. Got it from Inventory Adjusters.

Here is my 7S26-01X0. Nice watch. Great Lume! Wish the crystal was saphire though. Got a good deep scratch in it. Need a OM.
