I am a new member who is just starting out, so be gentle. I have three knives to start with. Hope you like them.:)

its a start :), I have a similar knife to your ORVIS folder excellent food prep knife with that big belly to it

welcome to the forum BTW, there is a wealth o knowledge here............ & some BS nonsense
but it is a great site, good luck on you collection & may it grow and prosper haha

Very nice for starting out, can you tell us a little about each?

Sure. The Puukka is a Tapio Wirkkala I bought from Brookstone in the early eighties. I think I paid around 40 bucks for it.

Then the Orvis is a gift from my wife, it's a cool little knife.

The third one is a custom made knife from a maker in NC ( ncground.esty.com ) . I bought it cause I thought is was cool.

I want to find a traditional hunter blade with either a stag or leather stacked washer handle. I am not sure what I want but I will know it when I see it. LOL.

By the way the information on this website is mind boggling, info overload. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, thats the general idea. I'm going to shop around a while on this site and others. I think you did pretty good with the leather stacking. Thanks for looking.
