Behind The Scenes @ Fiddleback Forge

Just a friendly reminder these knives are for “Preview” not “Pre-sale”.

This BTS is pretty short as I haven’t had much down time this week but
All work and no play is not the way we live and work here at Fiddleback.

Monday morning and Andy is sharpening the previous Friday’s batch.

Like all of us here, David also “wears many hats”. Profiling is probably one of the least wanted jobs here.
He’s a trooper.

Notice he’s using a “push stick”.

“Marking” is just one more of his jobs here.

Here Cubby is taking handle material that has been glued up and making them “scales”.

Clean up on aisle 2.
Andy has been shaping the scales Cubby and Chris glued up

Thanks!
I think that everyone would have a different answer.

If any of the guys wanna chime in...Feel free

great batch this week. You gotta love all of those pro-keps being produced. They will be loved once they get in the user's hands. I'll say it again, the absolute best knife out there. Great design and probably the best all around steel you can make a user knife out of.

Are these all Allens?
What is this design called? any way to get my hands on one?

Great stuff! I like these behind the scenes stuff!

Thank you

Those are all Allen's work.
The knives in the first pic are his "Patch" model.

In the second pic that would be his "Minuteman" model.

Check out that badass Bog Oak push stick David is using.

As long as it had black liners and white stripes? ;)

Yes! And underwear from KMart and don't forget the cheese balls. 12 cheese balls. Definitely need cheese balls.

Back to topic a bit though; How does sanding compare to packaging and shipping knives?

well.........................

Allen and I do the shipping now. It takes about 1hr or so now to actually box everything up. I t takes me longer to monitor the paypal account and create the shipping log based on the claimed knives.

Sanding is another story. Cubby and I with the help of Hannah(except for when Andy gives her days off....ahem today) sand 40ish knives during a 2 day period w/ some others mixed in.
