Behind The Scenes @ Fiddleback Forge

Just a friendly reminder these knives are for “Preview” not “Pre-sale”.

Some of the happenings around the shop this week.

These knives are getting ready for the “tops” to be sanded prior to glue-up.

I also see a couple FF knives that have my interest already. Is that 'Merica burlap a Kestrel and is it hollow ground?

:thumbup:Nice! What's model is that in Osage with nat liners and blue pinstripes in glue up?

The epoxy pit always looks like a war zone lol... I learn so much from these pictures... TIL: tacking the blanks together with superglue then I assum you sand off the tacks holding it together for epoxy..... I've always used double sided carpet tape but removing it is kind of a chore...

Definitely a Kestrel, and that one looks like it may be flat ground, but may just be a thinner blade with a shallow hollow grind.

Hard to say at that Angle which of the three it is for sure, but I'm thinking Big Sneaky looking at the blade to handle proportions.

The Mamoth Ivory Loveless Dropped Hunter sure looks sweet! Thanks for the view of the cherry bomb duo Ivy!;)

If that's Phillip's desktop pc, odds on they are electric orange, just a dark pic!

Looking great! Really digging how the Surls version of the Loveless are turning out, he has really made it his own:thumbup:

I don't know Jim, maybe Phillip can enlighten us. ;)

I remember seeing a Cherry Bomb Mini Loveless in a group shot for the Kansas show. I haven't seen it since. I was really hoping it would pop up in a Wednesday sales thread but I'm assuming it was sold in Kansas.

This is an excellent point Jules. lol. I'm just obsessing over the Cherry Bomb one.

Why is there a pic of someone with their pants around their ankles? Wow, talk about a new level of "behind the scenes".
