Just a friendly reminder..This is a “preview” of things to come and not a “pre-purchase” thread.
Honestly quite a few of these are going to be making the trip to the Cobb Galleria for BLADE

With no A/C in the shop it’s getting hot in there already….as Chris wipes his brow

Andy was talking using a strop w/ a wood backer and not a mouse and sandpaper for sharpening.
Here is what we have for hand sharpening in the shop. IIRC the blue belt is a 2X72 40 micron belt

That new kitchen knife by Allen is money. Does it have a name yet?

Also it looks like someone is going to get a twin of my F2 that's pretty awesome!

Cool seeing some before and after final handle sanding/finishing. As usual some beautiful knives in the works.

Great looking things to come but what else is new.. And as we have come to expect great shots Phil

Scandi Esquire, Custom shop Duke w/wood handles, double bolster shadetree .. lots of good stuff in this batch!

Old school thick liners...Bog Oak Handyman..ohhh man!!!!

Exact my thoughts seeing the pics the first tim.

thanks Phil....i hope one or the other makes it to the sales thread...otherise who wants to go shopping for me at Blade?

Dang there are some stunners in that batch. This is why I just work through Blade, otherwise I would just be broke for the next 5 years and have to walk home since I can't hitchhike. Who's going to pick up a grubby old gnome with a sack full of knives?
Feel free to just send me the bill for the custom Keppy....

Yep, that Bog Handyman for sure! Any time that I think, "Can a person have too many", Bud's Runt thread and his collection come to mind.

Awesome looking work overall! What was up with the shop AC?

The only area w/ A/C normally is the "office".
We have a portable unit that is not hooked up yet.

Man, so many in this post I like that I'm not even going to try to name them all. Looking great guys!!

awesome! I love seeing the process start to finish, can't wait to pick mine up, thanks for sharing!

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. :p

So I have been having this recurring nightmare of having my desk job back. In the dream I'm buried in work but can't seem to get anything done. Everyone has noticed that nothing is happening and they're all fed up with me. The dream goes on and on but I get absolutely nothing done even though I am trying very hard to catch up. Each day i make zero progress. My computer is down, the power is out, the software we need won't run, there was a water leak in my office, my chair won't quit breaking, etc.

The good thing is waking up and realizing that I am a knifemaker now, the shop is a very cool place for us misfits to work, and we're very efficient at accomplishing our work. Whew. Thank God for that.
