Behind The Scenes @ Fiddleback Forge

Just a friendly reminder these knives are for “Preview” not “Pre-sale”.

“Rain, Rain Go Away….” I hope that works!

This week has been pretty uneventful. Andy has taken off for Spring Break and our efforts have been put into getting the consumables stocked up and producing some Production knives and machetes.

I learned a valuable lesson. The next time I leave something at home and have Kylie bring it to me…..be in the Office when she gets there.

Monday we had a huge down pour and Allen came up with a different way to clear the drain in the parking lot.

Nope. we didn’t get cows...someone dropped a knife in the quench tank.

Thanks for looking!

"Are you in the Pooper?"

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

And yes, the black ash axe is stunning.

Kylie is funny. Definitely keep her! :)

What is the blade stock width on the Bushboot?

Always love these. Stay dry. Who had to go diving in the quench bucket?

Funny stuff Phillip. Thanks for the preview, always love to get an insight into what's going on at the forge [emoji106]

Thanks Abe..

Sorry there wasn't much knife content this week but we didn't make any handmades.

Thanks Phillip

Out of informational curiosity (not complaining) is a 3/32 swedged Bushboot a difficult feat? I'm just not sure if I've seen any 3/32 swedged Bushboots. Thanks

It is. If something goes "haywire" you have a 1/3 less stock to correct it. A little twitch and the knife could be lost, which is especially troublesome if you are trying to go back and swedge a finished knife.

You might want to break from knives and start building and Ark.

Enjoy the show, is there a post somewhere with a pic of the knives you guys are taking with you?
