I swung over to balisongxtreme for old times sake (;)) and to see if there was anything new, and it dawned on me that I never posted a review of the kick*ss sheath that Clay whipped up for me a while ago. And I hate to even mention it without having pictures to post, but this sheath is worth the post!

It's the standard Kydex materials and rivets. But the configuration is what this one's all about. It's a BM42 IWB double vertical sheath meant to be worn at the small of the back. It's very streamline and very smooth. But, I must have eaten one too many lunches at 7-11 and it's a little too snug in the ol' trousers. But this is a fault of my dietary habits, not Clay design or craftsmanship. ;) So, distraught with the fact that I couldn't wear it all the time, I slid it in the front pocket of my camping pack for safe keeping. That turned out to be very useful! Since then, I've stuck this sheath in every spot on my car, desk and at home and it never fails. I had never even considered sheaths for anything but personal carry devices. Now when I get to work, the knives slide in under the keyboard rest and don't bother me when I'm wigglin' in my chair. When I drive, they're hiding behind the passegner seat, hooked on to a pocket in the back. This thing is great.

If you haven't gotten one already from him, give it some thought.

And Clay, have you gotten anywhere with your sewing? I'd be VERY interested in some nylon/kydex hor. sheaths.

Clay's sheaths are seconed to none!!! They have it all form, fit and function. I have about five of them that I rotate using:D

Clay sheaths can't be beat...i have a number of them and would reccoment each and every design.

What i'm really looking forward to now are the new shoulder and wrist harnesses that he has mentioned! The more the merrier :)
