I've been meaning to do this for a while now but never put my pictures together. I was lucky enough (and I want to stress the lucky part) to have won some RC knives in the third quarter photo contest. I had a serious bout of "shock and awe" when I saw that I had won. I wasn't expecting it at all. Hoping......but not expecting.

I just wanted to thank RAT Cutlery for putting on all these contests, for making fantastic knives, and for running a top notch business that stands behind their products. I am honored and am still extremely excited to own a few RC products that would have taken me a while to save up for on my own. I have a few pics of the day they arrived.

ETA: I also wanted to mention that as a way of "paying it forward" I took the liberty of giving the black RC-3 I received to one of my very good friends who is also interested high quality, hard use knives. He has greatly enjoyed the knife and I hope I don't seem ungrateful for passing it along. To be honest I felt a little selfish for having three fantastic new knives so I felt better giving someone else some enjoyment as well. That is why you won't see it in any of my pictures other than the day I received them.

Now that there is no more photo contest I can open the vault and release the photos I was holding until I was eligible to enter again. :p

Come on, you guys would be doing the same thing.:D

Just a few more of the RC-3. I hope no one minds that I'm dumping all the pics.

Great pics! My RC-6 has been out of my hands for a little while getting fitted for a set of leather pants. Boy do I miss it!

Congrats!

I like your pics - bring 'em all! Nice background scenery you have in them!

Nice shots! I still need to nab me an RC-6...and one of the orange fellers too!

Great pics! Love the Orange and nice fatwood! Oh, and I wish we had scenery like that in Holland.

I'm glad you guys like the pictures.

I love all the knives but my heart belongs to the Orange/OD RC-3 as you can tell by the number of pictures I have of it.

The RC-6 is very comfortable in use and I'm looking forward to using it more. It's dimensions on paper are misleading. It's quite a large blade.

I love the RC-4 as well but I've used it the least. I like the thicker blade and if I were taking either the RC-3 or the RC-4 outdoors it would be the RC-4 but I like the thinner blade more for everyday chores. I'd actually love an RC-4 in 1/8" stock.

I got an Izula for my dad for Christmas and he really likes it. I've got the itch to add one to my collection.
