Hi Leon,

if you would buy a RAT, take the knifeworks.com, they have good prices, and they ships to Europe.
I'm from Hungary, and I have ordered many times from knifeworks without any problems...

Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop sends to Europe, as do KnifesShipFree, I had good experience with the first, but I know of others that the second is very good, too.

2sharp from The Netherlands is Official International Dealer & Distributor. Got my RC-5 from them. They are not very fast but no taxes!

You're right about that but the prices are just really high there. I've found that even with taxes knives bought overseas are cheaper and arrive pretty quick (3-10 days is what i normally get :D)

www.cumberlandknifeworks.com is a good online place to check out.

And yes, if you win one of RC's contests, they will ship to europe. I won a RC-3 a couple of months ago in the photo contest :D

Jeff, Mike and Rowen manuf. are great; even though they stated shipping to Europe is extra when you win a contest, they shipped the RC-3 for free!

Good luck!

do alot of people win contests? and how many times do they make a contest?

They have contests every month. To win one on this site you must be part of the RatPack and have earned a RatPack number. To do so, you simply need to make a minimum of 25 posts to this sub-forum then get a RatPack # by posting a request for one to the 'Taking it to a new level' sticky thread.

It is up to RatCutlery to decide if international contestants can win. You might have to pay the additional shipping costs. I won one of their photo-contests last year and they sent me out my prize to Canada.
