Bellota rasps- what alloy?

One of my nephews is a farrier, and gives me bundles of the Bellota rasps.
Currently the only knives I'm making out of re-purposed steel are bushcraft knives from these rasps, and I can't keep em on the table.
I've been heat treating them as if they were 1095 (thermal cycling, 10 min. soak @ 1500, water quench) and getting really good feedback on edge stability.
Does anyone out there in BF land happen to know what the alloy is? Haven't had much success contacting the company for info- their ads say that it's a "chrome alloy." Similar to 52100, perhaps?
Thanks for any ideas.
Andy

PS- yes, I'm doing tests, so perhaps this isn't necessary, you just never know what prior experience is out there, so I thought it was worth checking.
