Belly radius

One of the best manufacturers of hunting rifles also have some knifes for sale . They especially emphasize for one knife that the Belly radius is 60 millimeters ...........I understand that radius of belly on knife make difference .I wonder is there specific rule about that ?

I would venture a guess that there is not a “standard”. It likely varies depending on an individuals esthetics or how they actually use the knife....

Strange way to define the belly. Since it is unusual one cannot readily use 60mm as a point of comparison for more or less belly. Personally I draw profiles with a French curve. When using CAD I may use a spline. Could use arcs, but then I would use multiple arcs of different radii, so quoting just one wouldn't mean a lot.

So the belly is an arc segment with a radius of 60mm? With the focus on the spine side (not recurved)?
That seems very tight to me, but I suppose it depends what the knife is for.

There's no rule, it depends what the blade is being made to do.

This is that knife........seems like they wanted to make some combination hunter/skinning knife with that belly ?
