Price 67.50 Dose this sound like a pretty good assortment to start with? Thanks, Mike M

It sounds like a good deal to me. Good progression to final finish and not that baddly priced. 3M makes good belts

I've never used the tri-mite belts. I like SC, but it doesn't seem to last. Maybe these....

(BTW didn't I read that silicon carbide is second only to diamonds in hardess?)

You're going to love that 16A trizact belt. Great one for sharpening.

The micron film belts are sweet, cut fast, but suck for slack belt use. I like 'em on handles. I keep some in belt form for the flat parts and cut up some for hand sanding.

It's a sad thing, but you'll spend a fortune on belts. It's really hard to toss out a belt that has given up, but you'll only ruin your work if you can't toss 'em.

I wish I could tell you something about those 3-mite belts. If they work that's a nice package and price.

Steve

PS, use a rubber to keep those course belts clean.
