Here is my day wear belt buckle.The buckle is the ABS logo.Specs:
Main body -Sterling Silver
Blade- platinum/24K gold mokume' (random pattern does not show much in photo)
Guard - 18K gold.
Handle - mammoth ivory
Lettering - 14K gold
Flames - copper
Coals - Alaskan gold nuggets
Anvil - Bronze
Material cost - $700.00
I make a new buckle every couple of years.My dress buckle has two ounces of Alaskan gold nuggets,one carat of diamonds,two large star sapphires,and a huge fire agate,all on a sterling base.
PS,I just noticed that the "M" in bladesmith has been knocked all out of place.Better fire up the torch and re-weld it!
