Hell, it may work for the larger ones as well, but the handle length would be a problem.
Years ago, I made the mistake of buying a suede leather inside-the-belt holster for ...er...probably an Ortgies .32. The holster was a pos. The only good thing about it was the heavy leather support and the spring metal belt clip itself.
So...I took the leather and spring off the suede holster by drilling out the rivets, threaded black GB ties through them, took the frog off a 10 in BDC, and snugged them down, being careful not to collapse the sheath. Painted the tan leather and spring flat black.
Works a charm. If you've had a belt clip gun holster, you know how quickly it goes on and off. It is secure, slids back when I push it, doesn't bind the blade, is inconspicuous.
I never used a belt holster for a heavy pistol or revolver, but perhaps it may work for the 15 inch and above khukuris without pulling too much, or riding too high.
Be well and safe.
