just a courious question been reading about ccw knives and from what i have read in fl laws i take it they are talking about pocket or jacket when it comes to what they consider concealed does that also apply to a belt sheath now i am talking about a snapped sheath like a buck 110 if you have a knife in a sheath and the sheath can not be seen though it's on your belt is that considered concealed i have carried a 110 like that for years and will continue to do so but i was just wondering because unless i missed something it not clear in laws that i have read

There's this wonderful invention called punctuation. It would have made your post a bit easier to understand.

Good natured ribbing aside, if a person standing near you on the side where the knife is can't see it, it's concealed. Even if the outline shows, if it's not visible, it's concealed. That said, some knives are perfectly legal to conceal anyway, like folding knives.

(3) (a) “Concealed weapon” means any dirk, metallic knuckles, slungshot, billie, tear gas gun, chemical weapon or device, or other deadly weapon carried on or about a person in such a manner as to conceal the weapon from the ordinary sight of another person.

a good rule of thumb (not LAW) is - if the entire handle (of a fixed blade) is exposed AND it is not disuised as somethingelse, it is not concealed.
