Belt clip for Izula..

Is there a belt clip adapter available for the izula sheath? I know u can use the paracord to attach it to the belt but i just like clips soo much more
 
well, you can buy a blade tech Tek Lok, which will allow you to wear the knife on your belt. i carry my izula in a custom kydex sheath with a custom "G" clip. i also transition from neck carry to belt carry often. if you want to neck and belt the knife i would get a custom sheath with clip and keep your original sheath, if you just want to wear it as a belt knife get a Tek Lok. :D

So any 2" tek lok should work for the sheath? I searched and they have a mini and a large... Sorry for all the questions.. I don't have much knowledge about tek loks or molle loks

i think it might be able to accept both sizes, but the large will look bigger, but that i am not sure about, MOLLE locks arent designed for belt carry and if you used it as such it would prematurely break. maybe somebody else can chime in about tek lok sizes. good luck. :D

hmmm maybe I'll order both and see which one fits.. from what i was reading on here I might need a large as small might not fit a normal belt properly... I'm glad i found this forum.. U guys are soo helpful!!:thumbup:
 
I'm looking for a low riding sheath I can keep in my rear pocket and conceal as much of my Izula as possible. I want a clip in order to keep the sheath and the blade in place and prevent it from slipping out all together while sitting or driving.

I've been carrying a folder in my rear pocket for ever and I'm ready for a fixed blade. I just can't find the perfect sheath.

If your belt is 1 1/2" get the small tek-lok. If it's larger, up to 2" get the Large tek-lok.

In your situation, I would look for a universal leather sheath with a clip. One that lets the Izula sit all the way down into it with only the "ring" of the handle showing. Or something like this: http://www.knivesshipfree.com/KSF-Adirondack-Leather-Pocket-Sheath-with-Pocket-1
Just my 2 cents.
 
no belt clip here. opted not to get one when i ordered this sheath from hoopster. but this sheath is so slim n small, it rides in my back pocket no problem. mostly wear levi
501s in the winter, so typical jeans pocket. it also rides sideways enuf you cant even see its there. super easy to get to.

as fer tec loks im pretty sure jeff and others have stated often that the large is the only size that fits esee sheaths.
 
Here's some pics of my Izula with a mini teklok with an ESEE 4 for comparison with a large teklok on a 1 1/2 in belt. I mounted the mini teklok at an angle for the Izula cos it's easier to draw that way but you can mount it vertical.

I'm gonna get the tek klip when I get my hest. I use it on my mag pouches in ipsc and it's very sturdy. But you have to get the right sized belt clip for your belt
 
I would recommend you get some custom kydex for it...ive got mine on my belt right now with a Hoopster sheath and G clip on it and its so much better than the factory sheath!

Only pic i have of the sheath at the moment(from EDC thread)...

Thanks for the Pic's!! I like the mini teklok..I'm gonna order one of thoose then... then maybe a custom sheath just for kicks... soo many options!!
