What are your thought on taking the belt clips of my folder and going bare back so to speak. I notice in most of the photos that everyone seems to leave them on. I will most likely never clip it on my pocket or belt. I like to keep my folder in my pocket for many different reasons. Also i think it would make the knife more comfortable to use. I know the general response will be use it how i like it. However as i get more into knives i find the purist in me struggling with a crazy simple thing like this. The thought of modifying i knife wouldn't even cross my mind unless i had two of them. And this is how the sickness begins. Lol

It depends on the knife, my zt 0200 with its grippy g10 will get tangled up in my pocket my skyline on the other hand rides deep because it has smoother g10 and I don't really like the way the clip Carry's.

Also for some people in some states if it isn't clipped its considered "concealed" so they use the clip for legal reasons...

Over all some knives are better with a clip and some without..

Just my 0.02.

I had the same problem at one time but once I started carrying my knife clipped inside my waistband I appreciated pocket clips a lot more. For me, waistband carry is the most comfortable and least noticeable method. Most of the knives I carry regularly tend to annoy me if I let them sit at the bottom of my pocket. Sometimes I'll throw a Ladybug, Dragonfly, SAK in my pocket but normally my SAK is in my bag. Got a Cadet Alox on the way that should be better for pocket carry.

As long as it's legal to carry it unclipped, try it out and see how you like it. You can always put the clip back on if you don't.
