This is just my 2 cents worth building a grinder is neat and rewording,but when you are all said and done you will have just as much money into one you have built,with the motor and contat wheel
etc.put some mods on your coote I had one and I know it can be done
hope I have been of some help.A grizzly for the money can be modifiead
alot and the platen can be modifiead,I have one and have did alot to it the only down fall to them is they are not V/S take it to a fine grit and then do some hand work 80 percent of the best selling knives
are hand finished,that show the mark of a true maker.The griz sells for around 275 new.
