I recently had a customer whose son just recieved an award for his performance of Duty.
This was his father's gift to him.
Forged 5160 blade with stainless fittings in a take-down construction with Black Canvas Micarta as handle material.
I gave them a Service Member Discount.

Looks good. I think that would make a great user. What is the BL and OAL? I also think you you do a good job with your photography. I've tried to take some shots of my knives and it is hard to get them to turn out well.

Very nice lines on this piece - no doubt it was a gift proudly given and gratefully received.

Very very nice. Could you explain exactly what you mean by take down construction, and what would be the ballpark for this piece.

Are there any strength issues with this kind of construction as compared to a knife with a full tang? Im thinking not necessarily breaking but bending under heavy work.
