Finished this one recently and sent it off to Scott Roush for these wonderful pics!Forged from 1/4" 5160, this one has an OAL of about 10".
Scales are elk soaked in boiled linseed oil, with patterned brass band, brass pins and rawhide wraps.
Other features are filework, forge texture, antique finish, forged curl, forged finger pad, and my first tapered tang,Sheath is of course by me as well. Thanks for looking, and thanks Scott for the great pics!

Great Looking Knife and Sheath.
Awesome photos as well! Looks like Scott did your knife justice with the photos.

This is the first knife of John's that I've been able to hold and it just feels wonderful. Just as utilitarian as it is beautiful and sharp as all get out.

John nice knife and sheath and Scott pictures are done by a TRUE professional. KT

Great looking knife John and Scott did a fantastic job capturing the style and feel of the knife.

Great looking knife and sheath, John. I'm gonna have to stop by Nettleton sometime and say hi.
