Hi Friends,

I was touring the local Goodwill (looking for another crockpot for my potions) when I met a young lady wearing a really cool looking leather hip pocket pouch belt. She let me snap a couple of shots of it with my phone since she told me she got it in Thailand and there was no hope of me getting one, and I told her I do a bit of leather work, am a high school arts and crafts teacher, yadda yadda... (There's nothing like meeting a beautiful young lady to make you painfully aware you're in your fifties, many pounds overweight, in bad shape, married and that's your 8 year old rascal of a boy with you.) That's probably why she felt safe talking with me and posing for the camera.

Sooooooo, any of you good people ever see anything like this? Know where something like it could be purchased? Have any suggestions as to how to go about making it? It really was quite well done in that it was lined with a soft leather and had several "layers" of pockets, etc.

Thanks for looking, Phil

That really is cool, Phil.
What oz. heather was the dif parts made of, could you tell?
It looks like a nice small pouch on a high slung gunbelt with a hidden knife sheath behind. I think I could make one,[after a FEW tries]

Shouldn't be too hard to make, structural components in 8 0z (belt, backplate) visable portion in 4-6 ounce garment leather. Mock up the 8 oz portions in matboard until you have the design, form the 4 oz components over wood blocks.. sew in the zipper before assembly

Yeah...piece a cake!! Problem is Phil, the Tai one costs about $25, and to have one made here in the good ole USA may cost more like $200. PM Sent.
