Belt question for those who wet grind (specifically 120 grit ceramics)

Every ceramic 120 grit belt I've tried cups out towards me at the edges of the belt (away from the platen) after it gets wet... this is with the exception of the norton blaze belts. Those cup the opposite way (which doesn't bother me nearly as much). The issue I am (and have been) having with the Blazes is that they pretty much always have a decent amount of belt wobble (sometimes it's REALLY bad).

Are there any other ceramic 120 grit belts out there that do NOT cup towards you after getting fully soaked?

I grind wet, well I should say damp. Mostly I use VSM ceramic x-weight belts (36, 60, 120) and I don't get any cupping. However, maybe I don't grind as wet as you. I have a mist going with Cool Mist mixed in. I keep the mist is focused on the blade edge. The belt is barely damp when I finish a blade. The mist is strong enough that I don't have to dip in water.

I've seen some videos where guys use a flood. I guess that's a good way to go, but I don't seem to need it. Maybe I just use a lighter touch.

I'm one of those that grinds under flood... Or when not I have quad misters (2 on the inside of the belt, 2 on the outside) so it gets quote soaked 😂

Why would you flood the inside of the belt?

I use a Kool-Mist and it has no issues.

It lubricates between the platen and the belt so lowers heat buildup in the platen, it also prevents gummed up residue on the platen sometimes I get with different belts.

I don't always use all 4 misters (actually it's 2 dual misters which are made by Noga), only in certain circumstances. But it's nice to have them when needed. It adds another level of cooling between the single dual mister and the flood coolant.
