CRK makes one for the large, but not the smaller one. anyone know where to find a nice one?

We are fortunate to have a couple of leathercrafters here on BF. Gary Graley aka G2 and Dave Abramson aka LifterforHim are excellent craftsmen. Dave just finished a leather sheath for my large leather inlaid Classic and has done a few more for some other forumites. Gary has been making sheaths forever;) and a day! His work shows it too. Contact either one and they will be able to fix you up with a custom sheath for your "custom" knife!:D  :D

Thanks! How best to get hold of those wunnerful folks?

I want a special pouch as special as the knife itself!

Hi Cat, see some of Dave's, aka Lifter4him, sheath work Here Dave is doing some very good work.

As Art mentioned I also make some sheaths, below is an icon for my home page the www button will take you to view some sheaths I've made.

Good luck and you have a great start with that folder!

not nice but durable. bianchi accumold single mag pouch. the small size o one. i've got my small ldc sebbie in one.

A few months ago, we introduced a leather sheath that fits both large and small Sebenzas. It mounts either vertically or horizonally on your belt, costs $38.00 and, as you can see, is available in either black or tan.

Anne, now those look nice and cleanly made and quite trim in size, excellent job!

:D

Steve Derricott at Gfeller Casemakers does a great job! Thanks for the compliments, Gary - we have no intention of putting you out of work, though!

Holy cow! Just saw this thread.
Folks, you can see first hand the character and generosity of the fine gentleman, Gary Graley right here. Where else do you see a super craftsman do something like that? Nowhere else but the knife community. That is a classy guy!

Anne, those sheaths also look really well made and nice.

Wow. I didn't know my CRK sheath went horizontal! These things ought to come with instructions!

Works, so long as your belt is around 1 3/16" in width and not very thick, I am finding out. I might force a stick into the slot so as to "train" it to open up a bit.

CRK sheath is beautifully made, I must say. As an owner of a small and large Sebenza, it's all I need.

I wish I could get one of the CRK sheaths Anne. My daily carry belt is 1.5" wide and is thicker than normal (over 1/8" thick) and used as a gun belt.

would the sheath stretch enough for my application?

The slots for the belt are 1 7/8 inches so I would imagine your belt would fit but I don't have a belt thick enough to try. Call or email and we will take care of you!

BTW, every dealing we have had with Gary Graley has been first class - and so is his work!!

Anne I get the drift that he is talking about when you try to mount your sheaths horizontally, the limit of how wide a belt comes into play quickly...

Anne, thanks for the kind words too, much appreciated! And as usual there isn't anyone that is has more class than the Reeve Clan! Both Anne and Chris are top drawer people to be sure!

G2

ps
The horizontal sheaths that I make I usually ask how wide a belt and try to accomodate that, most will fit up to 1 1/2" belts, BUT unlike that classy sheath that Anne posted above, mine do not have the neat option of going EITHER vertical OR horizontal, now that is VERY handy and they do look very nice!

I probably wont want to go horizontal. seems to easy to have a loss.

Verticle is fine for me! Anne is sending me one to see if it will do the job.

Too cool, Anne is the best and as that was what you were searching for it's all working out!

Again, that sheath looks to be very well thought out, kudos to Chris!

I hear they're not a regular item, and I think they have all the business they can handle..but Gefeller Case makers has an exact small version of the bigger Sebenza Leather case Anne and Chris have shipped for years.

I don't think they have made many...but they did make one for me!!!:):):):D

I just recieved a sheath from Gary he does GREAT WORK.
He did one for my large, when I get some cash sending my small.

Thanks Matt, and surprisingly that one could slip inside the Strider AR sheath pretty easy too! :D

I got my CRK leather Sebenza sheath today! :D

It is made very well. better than I expected from a production folder. I guess in retrospect I should have known better!

On the back it says *Feller*. I guess that is the leathersmith they use. Great work.

A real quality peice of leather. The 1/4" thick belt works great in the supplied belt slot, although horizontal use on the belt is not possible with the thick belt. Horizontal was not really a concern for me however.

Anne, great addition to my small sebenza!
