If this has been discussed elsewhere at another time, my apologies.
Occasionally, I find that a grinding belt that I have used at least once before, seems to really have a case of the "wobbles" when I put it back on my grinder. Even an occasional new belt will do the same. This can wreak havoc when trying to grind a straight line.
Well, I took a spray bottle of water and "spritzed" the belt backside while it was running and........... Wa-La........ it immediately began running as straight as a string.
I know that some belts are not "water friendly", however this worked great on 3-M Ceramics 60, 120, and 220 grits as well as Klingspor 400 grit.
Just thought I would share.
