I am really pleased with the new Grizzly 2x72.
The only thing is that the belt wobbles slightly from side to side, just enough to see.
Anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?

I have had six different belts on the machine, and they all wobble.

Thanks,
Dave Evans

Check the belt, it may not be cut straight. I usually get one or two that are this way each time I order some. Not sure if there is a way to remedy it.

Dave,
I would make sure there is plenty of crown on the tracking/idler wheel. You can add some by building it up with electrical tape. Also, I modified mine for small wheel grinding and reenforced the entire support arm at the same time. If the suppport arm HAS to be rigid, if it moves at ALL your belt will drift.

E-mail Allen Blade. He uses a Griz and seems to know quite a bit about them He should be able to help you out.

I have a griz and had the same problems with a belt.Hard to grind a good edge with a crooked belt.Checked all 10 blue cz belts and found four 50 grit that wobbled. As much as 3\16 inch. Emailed the manufacturer and he said send them back and he would add a couple for shipping and replace the bad ones.Only been 5 days so I'm waiting waiting waiting.
Take Care
