Belts for wood!

What belts are you guys using for wood? I use Blaze for grinding but don't want to ruin them on handle material. I figure the cheaper the better on these since they don't seem to last that long.

Cheapest AO belts that you can find.

For wood, micarta and G-10 I use my wore out blaze belts. When they stop grinding steel they will still rough grind handle material for a long time.

I like sharp belts for all uses. I will use blaze belts and then often go to Hermes 120, 220, 400, and 6oo Klingspore. Frank

depends on how much you want to do with the machines and how much by hand . I use klingspor J flex in 80 - 120 &220 , then finish by hand .

40 grit alox then j flex in 80 then 150 grit.
