Belts

pops knife supplies has the best prices i think. not to mention pop is a hell of a guy and offers a good range of products.

I was just curious, I have a Coote on the way. Since I don't know what length belt is usually used or where to find them is why I asked.

Coote sells grinders set up for 2X48", or 2X72". I hope you got 2X72".

Tru Grit is another good place to get belts. Like Pops, they have good prices.
And, it looks like they have a new, easier to use website too.!!! ;)

Yes, I ordered the 2"x72". Speaking of belts, where would a person find the drive belts(motor to the grinder assembly) at?

An auto parts store would be one place. Try to get a BFG belt if you can. They didn't use to have that big overlap bulge where the belt ends are joined. That causes a vibration in use.
You can though, if you can't find one without the lumpy joint, grind, or file it down a bit before use.

I don't know what length the Coote setup normally uses, but I didn't know auto parts had belts that short. Thanks

Before serpentine belts on cars, they usually had 2-4 smaller belts of the type you need. The auto parts stores stock mass quantities of them, in all lengths.;)
