I'm interested in getting Filson Double Mackinaw type jacket and Mackinaw field pants. I stumbled on the Bemidji Woolen Mills site and noticed they have heavy wool jackets and pants for a reasonable price. Does anyone here have experience with them? Are they just as warm, tight knit, and durable as the Filsons? Any advice would be appreciated.

Don't forget to check out Johnson's of Vermont. I like their cargo pants better than Filsons and will check out the rest of the line over time too.
