Since I won't be able to attend this time around, it was prophetic that I was able to talk with these two guys last year and get on their books....just got them! Both were first sent to Caleb Royer for REAL photographs but this will give everyone an idea of these two incredible pieces.

Both have Carbon-Fiber handles and W2 blades sporting hamons. Ben Breda highlighted his with file-worked, copper collars, and Ben Seward used Damascus for the guard, highlighted with file-worked, heat-colored titanium, and domed handle-pins. Both handles are sculpted and are superb as are the sheaths, made by Ben Breda and David Seward.

Congratulations on both Dudley. I have to say that both of these guys have bright futures in knife making. I have enjoyed visits with both. I am also impressed with both in their high standards of work.
Thanks for sharing them, looking forward to seeing more from both these guys.

Dudley, nice catch. I do like carbon fiber as a handle material, so stable, it never expands or shrinks and very versatile .

Cool stuff my friend. I am rparticularly fond of the blade shape on the small Breda fighter

Hello Dudley!

All the best,

Thanks for all of your comments and I did want to add that the Breda was ordered as a 'Vest Pocket Bowie' and the Seward was ordered as a large Fighter that Ben would have free reign with as he was really developing his curved guard when we spoke last year. I was happy that both of these fine Makers would do the Carbon-Fiber handle for me....I wouldn't want to grind it! ;)
