Hey guys! My newest client, Ben Breda, sent me this bowie recently. I was immediately impressed with the fit and finish. It's so clean. Please click on the image to enlarge and click again to zoom in. As always, enjoy!

Great shots of Ben's work.....he's a fine young man and has an outstanding start as a World Class Bladesmith. I was fortunate to meet and speak with him in Atlanta. :)

Ben's knives are so clean. Nice photo Caleb.
That's a very aggressive handle contour, I would like to experience it's feel in the hand.

Looks pretty sweet to me, huge beast of a blade(wide:thumbup:).
Great looking walnut AND handle/guard shape.
Awesome foto, Caleb.

What a clean bowie indeed. I'm intrigued by the handle contouring. Almost looks like it has different facets to it on the top bottom and sides.

All goes together really well. I like the subtle s guard too and the bulk of it with the wide blade.

I met Ben in Atlanta and admired his work. He looks so young. But, his work looks seasoned. A bright future ahead. Super image of a super piece.

WOW! Really nice Ben. Wow really nice image Caleb. Fangasmic on both accounts :)
Cheers Keith

Thanks for showing!
I particulary like the slim taper to the edge at the choil...in this kind of knives i see very often too heavy a "rolling" to the edge, which makes for to heavy primary angle above the edge.

Ben has a good eye. I really like his work. Clean as a whistle.

One thing a new or young maker will often do at this stage is to start making Damascus which is a natural progression but for some it actually is a distraction from what they really should be doing. But I am happy that Ben has concentrated on getting his fit and finish absolutely right before going on to Damascus. Of course he will need to before pursuing his MS stamp.

Caleb your photos are so nice.

Very clean work. I hope that Ben has one with this handle design on his table at Little Rock. I really want to feel that in the hand. The edge geometry looks fantastic.

Great images Caleb. Thanks for posting this.
