you all can tease and play with me and i dont get all bent outta shape over it, and if you bother to look around quite a few others pounced on chiro and gunner for this same thing but i am the only prick? fine. i would suggest Ben that you simply bypast my topics and dont even open them since i am such a prick.
i do have a rather dry negative type sense of humor i guess but you all should know that by now. i guess not though.

I didnt mean to leave any of the others out.I feel the same way about each and every one of 'em.Teasing is one thing and being mean spirited is another.I singled you out because you started the thread (twice) you are old enough to know better ,and someone of your stature and reputation should try to do better.I only wish you posted with the same care and quality I see you put into your beautiful knives.I'm the one that should lighten up?lol

I cant really comment on the situation with gunner but chiro is a good guy and has been a friend to this forum.The guy asked for a 3"piece of scrap steel for christ sake!Also asked if someone might pick him up a $2.50 tap.I dont see anyone yelling Panhandler when someone asks for free advice.Chiro has given out a lot of help to people with sheathmaking questions are they moochers for asking?I dont think he deserved the gangbang he recieved from some of you.Tim it is nice that you want to censor my post viewing but I will read whatever strikes my fancy on bladeforums and post accordingly.I said it to you before Tim:you fight just like my mother-in-law.You pick and insult then when you are called on it you say it is just your dry sense of humor.Uh huh.

and it is my sense of humor. not used as an excuse or to cover anything up, i thought the outright begging for stuff you could get yourself at most any hardware store was pretty lame and lots of others felt the same.
so kiss your mother in law for me and get over it, you can call me on anything you like.

I'm just an avid knifemaking hobbyist. I belong this forum to hopefully pick up a few tips here and there. For the most part, the regulars on this forum have been generous in their advice. On occasion, I offer a little advice when it's asked.

What I see happening (all too often now) is starting to make me sick. This forum represents a great opportunity to share knowledge and information. How about a little fun as well? Sure, why not?

Well, fun is one thing. This is another. There are a handul of individuals who are completely abusing this forum. I, for one, am getting extremely tired of it.

I applaud Magnum44 for speaking is mind on the other thread. Now I've had my say.

Seems like to appreciate Overland Park humor is an acquired taste? A sharp tongue cuts like a rapier, but normally common sense douses the fires of passion. You ol' boys need to cool your giblets, that high blood pressure will make you look like a thermometer and ---that ain't cool! Seems like those senior among us (chronological and experience wise) should remember that they too received help and to give back a little.

i'm on this forum for the same reason.
everybody else, i don't like seeing this type of talk on a forum for helping each other out. if i guy needs a peice of steel, what's the big deal, send him one. if he needs a $2.50 tap, send him one. if you don't want to than don't say anything. i wasn't trying to verbaly attack anyone with my last post against this stuff, just hopeing you guys would listen to me. i hope you will listen to me. thanks.
(p.s. tomW, i wasn't trying to offend you, and if i did, sorry. i was just trying to stop the teasing, and name calling)

I feel the same way about it too.That was not Chiros finest hour.But people make mistakes and he apologised.If he were some guy who hadn't been around here and had never contributed I would probably heve said something too.It is just hard to see him take this crap and not jump in to help.If you want to judge his character on a couple of posts from this week,I don't think that is fair.The guy has been around for a while and has been a good guy to a lot of people.
In case anyone wants to see for themselves,there is a search function on the forums.I guess its just easier to kick the guy just in case he might be a moocher than to check out his charachter firsthand.

not overland park humor, just herman humor. i have given to makers wanting help and will continue to do so whenever ia can, that to me is not the point here at all. anyone is welcome in my shop and are mor than welcome to steel, pins, screws, whatever. i send stuff to people all the time. i just dont post about it all looking for pats on the back every five minutes. i have been fortunate in getting help and advice from lots of top names and i return the favor when i can.

a question to you that i asked ben e, of all the people that pounced on chiro and gunner befor i added my .02, why am i the one catching all this sh*t?? ben e says i am old enough to know better. better than what? that i should know better than to voice my opinion when others seem to be able to voice theirs and not be called a prick?? ben e compares me to his mother in law, but have you ever seen me call anyone a prick or other nasty name? i dont think you will find that!

i admit at times i am not the nicest guy around here but jump on all the other guys asses who posted first! all i know better is that you all look down on me because i am " someone of your stature and reputation should know better" and you continually use that on me, so i guess someone of my "stature and reputation" should know better than to post my opinions here.

I have a great idea!!!! Lets all go make a knife or something and knock off all this crap. How about one of the moderators closing this thing.
