Here is a little video I did on Ben Tendick’s BRT knife and hawk shoulder harness

It is an awesome rig and a very convenient way to carry a hawk or knife

How much do you notice it when you wear it for long periods?

Depends on coat

If the coat lets it hang freely it is very comfortable

I have not tried to drive yet with it

The nice thing is that the hawk being attached by pull the Dot snaps comes off the rig easily and than the Hawk can be moved to sash carry or stuck in brief case (satchel)

It’s definitely a system with many options

When worn with correct coat or no coat I can hike with it etc with no issues

Yes he is making a version that has the snaps on both sides

The one I have does not but when you order you can request either version

My hawk is usually in my vehicle or messenger bag

It attaches very easily to the harness so if I needed to pack it I can set it up with in seconds to the shoulder harness

For me much better than hanging on belt and yes as strange as it sounds concealable
