bench grinder question

do you guys know if the ryobi or the skil bench grinders have removable guards, the store employes dont seem to know....

if you want the grinder for the paper wheels, hold off until i talk to you. keep your phone handy. i just called a few minutes ago.

ok, i ordered an ace grinder, if worse comes to worse ill use brute force to take the guards off, email would work best for now i have to go to verizon, my phone was in a little washing machine accident and ive been trying to dry it out with a hair dryer with no avail.

get 8" wheels for it so there is room for your hand to clear the housing.

All the guards are removable.

thats a relief, didnt want 43$ down the drain, if the guards werent removable it would just be another toy.

Ace Hardware sells the Delta brand . I have one . Theirs has a wheel, quick change feature that works nice . I'd recommend the variable speed with the light and the stand near the wheels . I also have a Delta brand drill press and it seems to hold well . DM
