Bench made 450 needs a screw

I have a bench made 450 that has lost the pivot screw. I called benchmade and they told me they no longer have those parts available but if I send the knife to them they would give me credit on another knife. I really like that knife and don’t want to part with it. Any suggestions where I can get a new screw? I don’t know the size or the thread and bench made couldn’t tell me

Do you have any other, newer benchmades? You could try the screws from them and order one if it fits.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a benchmade elishewitz and the screws that hold the handle on are the same thread but too long. Will contact benchmark tomorrow to see if they have these and I will just cut them down to fit. Thanks so much!

The 450 had a 2-56 flat head cap screw. I bet these would work from Mcmaster: https://www.mcmaster.com/92703A103/
