I am crappy at maintaining a consistent angle on bench stones, so after thinking about it for . . . a decade, I finally made this. Set the angle to match the more acute sharpmaker. Works great!

Nice! I’ve been thinking about doing the same for years. I’m going to have to make a setup for my DMTs.

Great work, is there a way you can have different angles ? or would you have to make separate jigs ?. 👌

Thanks - so simple and cheap! And I can always stick a 1" wide strip of micarta or something under one end or the other to repeatably increase or decrease the angle. Different thicknesses would create different angles. Would not be precise in terms of exact degrees, but would be precise in terms of repeatability, which is most important
