OK, for forty years or so I have sharpened smaller knivesw and a few kitchen knives with the Lansky system. It works great for me.

But now I am older, do not see well (20/150) and have less and less patience. I have been looking st the "WorkSharp" line of belt sharpeners. Each one looks larger, more complex to operate and that much more of s bother . . .not to mention the cost.

While I can deal with the cost, I don't have a garage workbench to put it on. Can't use the coffee table etc . . . .

Aside from my issues which could be delt with, who here has experience with these things and what are the trsade-offs that come into your mind?
