I just ordered one for only $105, with free shipping. I think it looks like the perfect knife.
I was wondering about the bt2 coating on the blade. How durable is it?

Also, how is the g10 handle gonna be like. Never even touched the stuff, but it loos great, and I have heard its pretty good.

Benchmade is a great company to buy production knives from (their knives pass many custom folders IMO). The BT2 coading is a decent coating, but it will wear off from cuting anything fibrous or coarse (cardboard, wood, carpet, etc.) The g10 is my favorite scale material. Benchmade does a really good job of texturing so that it is grippy enough in the hand, but not so grippy that it sticks in the pocket (Spydeco's g10 for example is many times more aggresive). I've been wanting this blade for awhile, it looks really utilitarian for EDC, I got a Manix instead, great knife, no Axis:grumpy: . You will not be dissapointed with a Benchmade, the axis lock is superb!

Yeah benchmade is great. I have had a 42, and I have now a 43, 46, and a custom jody samson 4" weehawk w/skeltonized handles. I have never had a benchmade folder. I am getting the new knife because I lost my edc spyderco delica stainless. I also have an eight year old delica in the lightweight material, not sure what it is.
