Just wondering if anyone here carries D2 steel in a pocket without it rusting?

I'm planning on hip pocket carry in a Kydex sheath, probably wiping it down at the end of the day.

What do you think? Can you keep D2 from rusting in this kind of use?

Haven't had any problems with the edge rusting on my 275. It coated but none of the scratches have rusted yet.

Carrying one right now, and for the last 2 months as my edc. I use the leather sheath it came with and have had zero problems with it rusting or anything. I wipe it down and give it random oil maybe once a week too...
