well this morning I got an e-mail from Angie at the warranty dept. at benchmade. she had been browsing the forum and she apologized for the response I had gotten on the sheath. she asked me to call her so I did. I told her what happened, and also that the knife scales were uneven (of course that wasnt as big an issue for me, but I thought I would mention it) at the tapered end of the tang.
I told her I had bought it for a camping trip, she asked me when I needed it. I told her for this weekend (I was leaving friday afternoon). She said she would look into sending me a whole new knife and sheath 2nd day delivery so I could have it for my trip!!! well shes going to get back with me and let me know what she can do for certain, so I'll keep you guys updated!!!!
Kudos to Angie!!!! she just helped put my trust back into benchmade!!!
