I just picked one of these up, and have to say it is a great looking knife, although I think the handle is a little to thin.
Just wondering if anyone else had picked one up yet, and what they
think about it. Just need a little justification for my latest
Benchmade purchase.

Does that model also have a name? Knife Center found no 180 in a search.

Bugs,
It's their new fixed blade designed by Bill McHenry and Jason Willams, the Model 180 Outbounder.

New member here. Had to chime in on this one. At the knife shop I work at occassionally, we received one of the Outbounders along with a few of their new neck knives. I thought it was a gorgeous piece. Steel was ATS-34 if I remember correctly. The rosewood grips were tasteful and the overall look was very classic small skinner. The sheath wasn't very special (leather was too thin but sewn decently). But at a MSRP of $100 it seemed very reasonable. I debated picking it up for myself but a gentleman came in and made his mind up first. It was only on the shelf for about an hour! We had pre-pro 474 of 500. Came in as part of an "early bird" deal with Benchmade. Any of that help?
