I was wondering who out there owns a benchmade 210? I am really in love with them and contemplating getting myself an early x-mass present, what is everyones opinion on them and I was wondering if the knydex sheath a worthy addition

It's a really neat little knife. Looks good, has a good edge on it from the factory, feels nice in my medium-sized hands.

I don't like the factory sheath for it, and the one that came with mine already has loose threads. I've been thinking about picking up one of the kydex sheaths for it, or possibly sending it down to Tennessee to see if one the Graham Brothers would put together a pocket sheath for me. (Of course, I could just buy one of their Stubby Spear Points if I wanted something like that... :) )

In short, if you want a nice, respectable little FB, it's not a bad choice at all.

I have a 211, which is the budget version of the 210. It’s a little smaller but basically the same knife (in D-2).
Beware. Pictures on the Internet make it look bigger than it is, this is the Cricket of fixed blades, very small, almost cute. If you want a fixed blade that won’t scare people this is it.
The blade is actually quite thick, and given the length I wouldn’t be afraid to do some medium prying with it.

almost cute is a good description,it really is smaller in person than it looks on print. you may want to consider the 180 outbounder. great ergonomics, comfortable in the hand and a more user friendly blade. just my opinion.
