does anybody know when the Benchmade axial knives will be available? Am i the only person interested in these knives? and finally does anybody have any experience with the axial lock?

Thanks for any info

I've owned many axial locks over the years. The first axial lock I'm aware of was the Gerber Paul knives. The lock is very interesting, but in my opinion, not very practical for day to day use. IIRC, the Paul knives were fairly expensive to manufacture and not a big seller. I still have a few of the original Pauls'.

yea i was thinking of using this as a gentelmens knife more. just something for after work and when i need to dress up so it wouldn't see alot of use at all. thanks

I was browsing new items on one of the usual suspects website (won't say which one for fear of modslapping) and they said the carbon fiber 235 was in stock. Personally I'm quite interested in the axials as a dress knife. I trust Benchmade, and they look really classy. Also, the cocobolo scales will go beautifully with my new 3 piece suit.

That's what I'm talking bout man. Iv seen the same thing from a sketchy site(can't remeber which one) waiting till I see em from a more reputable(spelling?) Dealer. Not sure which handle scales I want yet

Was just looking around on onestopknifeshop.com the wood handled version is available I didn't see anywhere that said about preordr so I'm assuming it in stock. Am I wrong or is that site connected with this forum?
